We rent boards, teach beginners to stand up in the whitewash at Linda Mar, and post a real surf report every morning at 6am — called in from the beach, not a buoy three miles offshore.

OUR STORY
Built from driftwood, run by locals
Mara and Del Ríos opened the shop in 2009 out of a repainted garage two blocks from Rockaway Beach, with a counter built from a eucalyptus log that washed up after a winter storm. Fifteen years later it's still family-run, still two blocks from the water, and still the first stop for anyone walking down to Linda Mar with a board under their arm.
We teach on the gentle, sandy-bottomed peak at Linda Mar because it's genuinely one of the best beginner breaks in Northern California — and because we've been reading it every single morning for fifteen years. Every rental comes with a real conversation about where to sit, not just a board and a wave.

Soft-Top Board Rental

Forgiving 8–9ft foamies, perfect for beginners. Weekend rate $65 for Friday pickup, Monday return.
Performance Shortboard

Shaped locally, tuned for Pacifica beach breaks. For confident, experienced surfers only.
Wetsuit Rental

4/3mm full suits, all sizes, rinsed and hung dry between every use. The Pacific stays cold year-round.
